Exfoliating

Do you Know How to exfoliate, What to use as an exfoliate, and How to safely exfoliate at home is very important.

Many wants to know the What is exfoliation; Types of exfoliation, but few has gotten the really solution for their problems. Today you have been so lucky to be amongst the discoverer, Happy adventuring!

How to exfoliate; How to safely exfoliate at home.

There are two main methods for at-home exfoliation – mechanical and chemical – and the method you choose should be guided by your skin type. Mechanical exfoliation uses a tool, such as a brush or sponge, or a scrub to physically remove dead skin cells. Chemical exfoliation uses chemicals, such as alpha and beta hydroxy acids, to gently dissolve dead skin cells.

To prevent skin damage while exfoliating, dermatologists recommend the following tips:

Consider the skin care products you already use

Some medications and even over-the-counter products may cause your skin to be more sensitive or peel, such as prescription retinoid creams or products containing retinol or benzoyl peroxide. Exfoliating while using these products may worsen dry skin or even cause acne breakouts.

Select an exfoliation method that suits your skin type:

Those with dry, sensitive or acne-prone skin may prefer just a washcloth and a mild chemical exfoliator, as mechanical exfoliation may be too irritating for this skin type. Those with oily, thicker skin may want to use stronger chemical treatments or mechanical exfoliation. However, avoid strong chemical or mechanical exfoliation if you have a darker skin tone or notice dark spots on your skin after burns, bug bites or acne breakouts. For some people, especially those with darker skin tones, more aggressive forms of exfoliation may result in dark spots on the skin.

Be gentle to your skin

If you use a scrub or chemical exfoliator, apply the product gently using small, circular motions. Do this for about 30 seconds, and then rinse off with lukewarm – not hot – water. If you use a brush or sponge, use short light strokes. Never exfoliate if you have open cuts or wounds or if your skin is sunburned.

Follow with moisturizer

Exfoliating can be drying to the skin. Apply moisturizer immediately after exfoliating to keep your skin healthy and hydrated.

Find the right schedule for you

How often you exfoliate depends on your skin type and exfoliation method. Generally, the more aggressive the exfoliation, the less often it needs to be done. Be careful not to over-exfoliate, as this could lead to skin that is red and irritated.

What to use as an exfoliate

Wash or rub with a granular substance to remove dead skin cells. A good face exfoliator is an essential part of any skincare regime. Depending on the type and strength of the chosen product, it is a good idea to exfoliate 2-3 times a week in order to lift any dead skin cells, clean out your pores and help your skin glow.

What is Exfoliation? – Types of Exfoliation

Exfoliation

As far as beauty living is concern, knowing What is exfoliation; Types of exfoliation is very important.

Many wants to know the meaning of exfoliation, but few has gotten the really solution for their problems. Today you have been so lucky to be amongst the discoverer, Happy adventuring!

What is Exfoliation?

Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the outer layer of your skin. While some people believe that this improves the appearance of their skin, it’s not for everyone and – if not done properly – could do more harm than good.

If you choose to exfoliate, it’s important to do so safely so that it does not damage your skin or lead to increased redness or acne breakouts.

Since every type of exfoliation may not work for every skin type, it’s important to consider your skin type before choosing an exfoliation method:

  • Sensitive skin may sting or burn after product use
  • Normal skin is clear and not sensitive
  • Dry skin is flaky, itchy or rough
  • Oily skin is shiny and greasy
  • Combination skin is dry in some areas and oily in others

Types of Exfoliation

Exfoliation
Exfoliating

Mechanical

This process involves physically scrubbing the skin with an abrasive. Mechanical exfoliants include microfiber cloths, adhesive exfoliation sheets, micro-bead facial scrubs, crepe paper, crushed apricot kernel or almond shells, sugar or salt crystals, pumice, and abrasive materials such as sponges, loofahs, brushes, and simply fingernails.

Facial scrubs are available in over-the-counter products for application by the user. People with dry skin should avoid exfoliants which include a significant portion of pumice, or crushed volcanic rock. Pumice is considered a good material to exfoliate the skin of the feet. Microdermabrasion is another mechanical method of exfoliation.

Chemical

Chemical exfoliants include scrubs containing salicylic acid, glycolic acid, fruit enzymes, citric acid, or malic acid which may be applied in high concentrations by a medical professional, or in lower concentrations in over-the-counter products.

Chemical exfoliation may involve the use of products that contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), or enzymes that act to loosen the glue-like substance that holds the cells together, allowing them to ease away. This type of exfoliation is recommended for people treating acne.

In beauty spa treatment in continental Europe, the chemical properties of wine-producing grapes are exploited in the practice of vinotherapy which is becoming increasingly popular.

With hair removal

Some methods of hair removal also exfoliate the skin.

Waxing is a mechanical process performed with the intention of plucking the hair, but it also functions as a mechanical exfoliant. It can be done every two to eight weeks. It is not carried out as frequently as many exfoliate.

So, it does not fully substitute for an exfoliation regimen, but may substitute for a normal session in a regimen.

Nair is an example of a chemical hair removal product which also functions as a chemical exfoliant. It is applied more frequently than waxing (once a week rather than once a month) since it only partially destroys hair below the skin, rather than destroying the entire root as with waxing.

Using it weekly can substitute for a weekly exfoliant regime. It is a very aggressive chemical and cannot be used on the face, so other exfoliants would need to be used on the face.

Wetshaving also has exfoliating properties:

first, the action of moving a shaving brush vigorously across the face washes the face and removes dead skin at the same time. After applying the lather with a brush, the use of a double-edged safety razor or straight razor removes dead skin simply because the razor is dragged much more closely across the skin, and removes dead skin more effectively than a cartridge or electric razor.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a medical procedure that exfoliates the skin (or epidermis) by removing dead skin and vellus hair (peach fuzz). The procedure is performed by an aesthetician, who will gently glide a scalpel across the skin, removing the outermost layer of skin cells and hair from the face. As a byproduct, it also shaves off the vellus hair, but the hair will grow back at the same rate and texture as before, because it does not change the DNA of the hair bulb.

The procedure involves the use of a 25-centimetre (10 in) scalpel which curves into a sharp point. In most cases, the blade is used on clean dry skin on the forehead, cheeks, chin, nose and neck.

Dermaplaning can also be performed on skin that has had oil applied to it.

CAUTION! As carefully advise, Before any Usage of these methods, Users must be aware of its disadvantage.

HONEY: Nutritional Fact, Benefits, Uses, Preservations & Caution

0
Honey
Honey

Honey is a sweet, viscous food substance produced by bees and some related insects. Bees produce honey from the sugary secretions of plants or from secretions of other insects, by regurgitation, enzymatic activity, and water evaporation. Bees store honey in wax structures called a honeycomb.

Honey plays a significant function in life and can also be very beneficial to the human body. The National Honey Board Discribs Honey as the one-ingredient recipe made by bees, flowers and mother nature herself.

Nutritional Fact

Honey is much more than just simple sugar. For thousands of years, honey has been used by mankind in many capacities to help give the human body energy and health.

It contains a variety of vitamins and minerals. The type of vitamins and minerals and their quantity depends on the type of flowers used for apiculture. Commonly, honey contains vitamin C, calcium, and iron. If you check the vitamin and mineral content in regular sugar from any other source, you will find it completely insignificant.

According to the International Bee Research Association/Heinemann, London; Berenbaum, M., Robinson, G. and Unnevehr, L. 1995-1996. Antioxidant properties of Illinois honey. The University of Illinois.

Honey is a supersaturated sugar solution with approximately 17.1 percent water. Fructose is the predominant sugar at 38.5 percent, followed by glucose at 31 percent. Disaccharides, trisaccharides, and oligosaccharides are present in much smaller quantities.

Besides carbohydrates, honey contains small amounts of protein, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. Honey is known to be rich in both enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants, including catalase, ascorbic acid, flavonoids, and alkaloids.

Although appearing only in trace amounts honey also contains about 18 different amino acids. Crane, E. 1976. “Honey: A Comprehensive Survey,” Corrected edition.

Preservations

Heating honey leads to drastic changes in its chemical composition. As a result, heating at high temperatures reduces its benefits, therefore, Raw, organic or raw organic honey is preferred. While raw by definition signifies less processing (and no heating), organic honey is prepared using stringent organic production methods and processing standards, in which heating at high temperatures is not allowed.

When stored for a long duration, it becomes darker in color. It loses some of its properties and may also ferment if the water content is too high. Therefore, prolonged storage should be avoided, while newly harvested honey should be preferred.

Caution!

Most of the benefits are due to the presence of the pollen within the honey. Without the pollen, it is a glucose-fructose solution and is just as bad for you as sugar.

Unfortunately, companies market the transparent clear product as good quality, while in reality, ultra-filtered honey does not have many health benefits at all. That being said, you should be very cautious while consuming pollen-rich honey. If you have a pollen allergy, avoid consuming it.

Honey should not be consumed by infants under one year of age or those with a compromised immune system.

You should only use honey to treat wounds after you’ve seen a doctor.

Beradiva is working to solve a common problem amongst people for that reason, be alert in case there should be an update.

There are many reasons to have sex, at least when it comes to quality sex in a supportive connection. see the reasons below…

Bonds You to Your Partner

The hormone oxytocin is released during sex, and it sparks feelings of intimacy, affection, and closeness with your partner. That helps build a strong, stable relationship, which is good for everyone.

Helps You Sleep

Orgasm triggers a surge of endorphins and oxytocin in both men and women, and that dulls pain and relaxes you. Both of those can help you sleep more easily, though according to scientists — and many women — the effect is more pronounced in men.

Lowers Stress

People who have more sex are less anxious when they’re faced with stressful tasks like public speaking or arithmetic. But according to the study, it only works when you have a partner — masturbation doesn’t count.

You May Live Longer

One study suggested that married women who climaxed more often had a slight tendency to live longer. Researchers aren’t sure if the sex actually lengthens your life or if having sex is a sign of a healthier person. But why take any chances?

Makes You Happy

You don’t have to overdo it — once a week is a plenty. More than that and the effect fades. But scientists only studied couples in committed relationships, so if you’re trying to meet your quota by picking up strangers at your local bar, all bets are off.

Benefits of Having Sex

Helps Fight off the Common Cold

Move over, vitamin C. College students who had sex twice a week had more cold-fighting antibodies in their saliva than those who had sex less often.

It’s Exercise

It’s not necessarily a full workout, but it can be as good for you as moderate exercise. It raises your heart rate about the same as a brisk walk or a slow bike ride.

Keeps You Lean

The more sex you have, the slimmer you’re likely to be. Is that because more sex keeps you trim? Or because lean people have more sex? Scientists don’t really know, but all you need is a partner and a bathroom scale to try to find out.

Good for a Woman’s Heart

Women who have sex a couple of times a week are less likely to get heart disease than those who have it once a month. Whether that’s because healthier women enjoy it more often, or because it helps protect a woman’s heart is unclear.

Good for Mental Health

Adults in committed relationships who have more sex are less likely to be depressed or take medication for mental health issues.

You Could Make a Baby

If you’re trying to have a baby, the more sex you have, the more likely you are to hit the right time of the month. But more sex may also prime women for pregnancy and improve sperm quality in men, which can speed things along.

You May Live Longer

One study suggested that married women who climaxed more often had a slight tendency to live longer. Researchers aren’t sure if the sex actually lengthens your life or if having sex is a sign of a healthier person. But why take any chances?

First of all, Make sure you don’t throw away the packaging, it will help protect the hair from a speck of common dust. Washing and maintaining your Human hair wig is important to ensure it lasts a long time and stays looking great. If you wear your wig everyday, wash it every 3 weeks. How do you do this?

What Should I use to detangle my wig?

Before you wash a wig, be sure to carefully detangle the hair using a wide tooth comb. Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush, Do not pull or drag the fiber if possible you can simply Hand comb it.

How do I wash a human wig?

Fill a bowl with COLD water (never hot, as heat damages fibers) Mix a capful of shampoo into the water and Immerse your wig and allow it to soak for a few minutes.

Immerse your wig in a fresh bowl of cold water to remove the shampoo, *do not squeeze or wring your wig. Apply conditioner directly to your wig, stroking downwards from roots to ends, leave in 4–5 minutes and rinse by immersing wig once more in fresh cold water.

As we all know Hot water damages hair, it is advised to follow the normal procedure as usual. That is Using the cold wash Method as we instructed above.

How do I restore a curly human hair wig?

This is for those who often wear 100% human hair wigs because wigs don’t have real moisture like human hair, so they tend to be with the correct care to restore their manageability and appearance.

Tangled and matted is what we absolutely hate to deal with, however, taking care of this problem is what you need to know.

There are many different factors that can cause this to happen:

  • Poor quality of hair.
  • Lack of natural oils.
  • Hard water exposure can cause them to become dry or damaged hair extensions fade.
  • Sun exposure can damage the hair extensions by making them brittle.
  • Chlorine exposure can also cause hair extensions to become unmanageable.

After knowing all this, detangle the wig with the tip of your finger (hand comb), then Argan oil is very important at the moment. Rob Argan oil around the wig and then Wrap a silk or satin scarf around the wig to prevent it from dusting-up or could simply use the boiling method. To wash it, the method is not different from the procedure we’ve provided above.

Is boiling method a good choice for my wig?

One may ask, What is boiling? how do I boil my wig hair, Hope it won’t damage my wig? All these questions are not bad to ask hoping for an answer.

without waiting, I’ll quickly show you a video that will clarify your doubt.

Reasons Why you should avoid Cow’s Milk

0
Milk

Cow’s milk has long been touted as the go-to source for calcium. But look past the spin and it’s easy to see that milk does a body bad.

If you’ve “got milk” (and cheese, yogurt, and ice cream), you’ve likely got a host of health problems awaiting you, too.

In this post, Beradiva.com will provide you with good reasons you should avoid cow’s milk.

Reasons Why you should avoid Cow’s Milk

Milk
Reasons Why you should avoid Cow’s Milk

Prostate cancer:

According to research, Milk and cheese have been linked to an increased risk of developing prostate cancer. But Lactose-Free Diet.

Acne:

In multiple studies, the consumption of all types of dairy “products” was linked to an increased prevalence and severity of acne in both boys and girls.

Cholesterol:

A single serving of milk can contain as much as 24 mg of heart-harming cholesterol. A single ounce of queso packs 30 mg. But no plant food contains any cholesterol whatsoever.

Antibiotics:

Cows are often pumped full of antibiotics to keep them alive and producing milk in filthy factory farm conditions. We can thank this rampant overuse of them for the surge in antibiotic-resistant bacteria. When humans are infected by these superbugs, antibiotics at best have decreased effectiveness and at worst are powerless.

Saturated fat:

A single serving of whole milk can contain more than 20 percent of the recommended daily allowance of saturated fat. If you consume three servings of whole milk, you’re already at 60 percent for the day—even before eating any food. Cheese is even worse: Harvard reports that pizza and cheese are the biggest food sources of saturated fat in the American diet.

Weight gain

Despite industry claims, a study of more than 12,000 children showed that the more milk they drank, the more weight they gained—and skim and 1 percent milk actually appeared to lead to more weight gain than drinking 2 percent or whole milk. The study also found that replacing soda with milk did not lead to weight loss.

Don’t Underestimate the Vitamins in Avocado Pear

0
Avocados, also known as the alligator pear or butter fruit are a stone fruit with a creamy texture that grows in warm climates. Their potential health benefits include improving digestion, decreasing the risk of depression, and protection against cancer.Eating a diet that contains plenty of fruits and vegetables of all kinds has long been associated with a reduced risk of many lifestyle-related health conditions.

Numerous studies have found that a predominantly plant-based diet that includes foods such as avocados can help to decrease the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and overall mortality while promoting a healthy complexion and hair, increased energy, and overall lower weight.

Avocados are nutrient rich

Avocados are rich in vitamins and minerals.

According to the USDA National Nutrient Database, one serving (one-fifth of an avocado, approximately 40 grams) contains:

  • 64 calories
  • almost 6 grams of fat
  • 3.4 grams of carbohydrate
  • less than a gram of sugar
  • almost 3 grams of fiber

Avocados are a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids.

Although most of the calories in an avocado come from fat, don’t shy away! Avocados are full of healthy, beneficial fats that help to keep you full and satiated.

When you consume fat, your brain receives a signal to turn off your appetite. Eating fat slows the breakdown of carbohydrates, which helps to keep sugar levels in the blood stable.

Fat is essential for every single cell in the body. Eating healthy fats supports skin health, enhances the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, and may even help boost the immune system.

Healthy for the heart

Avocados contain 25 milligrams per ounce of a natural plant sterol called beta-sitosterol. Regular consumption of beta-sitosterol and other plant sterols has been seen to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels.

Great for vision

Avocados contain lutein and zeaxanthin, two phytochemicals that are especially concentrated in the tissues in the eyes where they provide antioxidant protection to help minimize damage, including from ultraviolet light.

As the monounsaturated fatty acids in avocados also support the absorption of other beneficial fat-soluble antioxidants, such as beta-carotene, adding avocados to your diet may help to reduce the risk of developing age-related macular degeneration.

Osteoporosis prevention

Vitamin K is essential for bone health.

Half of an avocado provides approximately 25 percent of the daily recommended intake of vitamin K.

This nutrient is often overlooked but is essential for bone health.

Vitamin K is often overshadowed by calcium and vitamin D when thinking of nutrients important for maintaining healthy bones, however, eating a diet with adequate vitamin K can support bone health by increasing calcium absorption and reducing urinary excretion of calcium.

Cancer

Adequate intake of folate from food has shown promise in protecting against colon, stomach, pancreatic, and cervical cancers.

Although the mechanism behind this apparent reduction in risk is currently unknown, researchers believe that folate protects against undesirable mutations in DNA and RNA during cell division.

Avocados may even have a role to play in cancer treatment, with some research finding that phytochemicals extracted from avocado can selectively inhibit the growth of precancerous and cancerous cells and cause the death of cancer cells, while encouraging the proliferation of immune system cells called lymphocytes.

These phytochemicals have also been shown to decrease chromosomal damage caused by cyclophosphamide, a chemotherapy drug.

Healthy babies

Folate is also known as folic acid.

Folate is extremely important for a healthy pregnancy.

Adequate intake reduces the risk of miscarriage and neural tube defects.

Recent research from McGill University found a 30 percent higher incidence of a variety of birth defects in baby mice conceived using sperm from mice with a folate deficiency compared with mice conceived using sperm from mice with adequate folate levels.

Lower risk of depression

Foods containing high levels of folate may help to decrease the risk of depression because folate helps to prevent the build-up of homocysteine, a substance that can impair circulation and delivery of nutrients to the brain.

Excess homocysteine can also interfere with the production of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which regulate mood, sleep, and appetite.

Improved digestion

Despite its creamy texture, an avocado is actually high in fiber with approximately 6-7 grams per half fruit.

Eating foods with natural fiber can help prevent constipation, maintain a healthy digestive tract, and lower the risk of colon cancer.

Natural detoxification

Adequate fiber promotes regular bowel movements, which are crucial for the daily excretion of toxins through the bile and stool.

Recent studies have shown that dietary fiber may also play a role in regulating the immune system and inflammation.

Osteoporosis treatment

Substances called saponins, found in avocados, soy and some other plant foods, are associated with relief of symptoms in knee osteoarthritis, with further research planned to determine the long-term effects of isolated extracts.

Antimicrobial action

Avocados contain substances that have antimicrobial activity, particularly against Escherichia coli, a leading cause of food poisoning.

Protection from chronic disease

According to the Department of Internal Medicine and Nutritional Sciences Program of the University of Kentucky, high fiber intakes are associated with significantly lower risks of developing coronary heart disease, stroke, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and certain gastrointestinal diseases.

Increased fiber intake has also been shown to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improve insulin sensitivity, and enhance weight loss for obese individuals.

Think of Amazon (a place where you can buy and sell worldwide), how about Jumia (the no.1 Nigerian Online shop) here you will find everything from household items to shoes to gadgets. Plus, there isn’t just one seller, there are multiple sellers which means you get different varieties at different prices. This isn’t something Wal-Mart and other such stores can match.

In addition to this, conventional shopping can leave you tired after walking for hours and still leave you unsatisfied, online websites know what you want. It is human nature to seek the easiest way possible for doing things, whether it’s shopping or anything else. Successful websites know how to grasp the attention of customers and they do it by offering almost everything there is to buy.

2. Online Shopping Is Cheaper
Online shopping is typically cheaper than going to a physical store, even if there is not much of a difference between the price. There is a simple reason for that. Online shopping sites do not need to be run and established like physical stores. This saves a lot of cost for online stores and this is why they can provide products at cheaper rates.

3. Easier To Search Your Favorite Products
Finding what you need at a physical store can be a lot of pain, but it only takes a few seconds when you’re shopping online thanks to search and filtering options.

Most stores allow you to filter based on price, brand, etc., allowing you to get what you want in no time.

4. Saves Time
Time is a luxury and you cannot afford to waste it. Going out to shop means you’re wasting half your day as traveling alone can be taxing. But, when you shop online it takes a few minutes as one Google search shows you what you want.

5. Delivered At Your Doorstep
The idea of buying something from a physical store and bringing it home can be frustrating, especially when it’s something like a TV, washing machine or anything big.

Online shopping can save you from this hassle as online stores deliver anything you buy at your doorstep. Some stores may charge delivery charges while some deliver for free.

1. Have a Chance to Examine Your Product

There is one thing you can’t compare with shopping online and just buying from a physical store. having an opportunity to examine the product you want to buy is one big thing you should consider, it’s not right to just buy any product without examining it. With the online service of buying, here you can compare one or two different product. You can not do this offline.

The products you should consider buying online are beauty products eg. Vassoul Blackhead Remover Mask, Peel Off Blackhead Mask, Black Mask – Deep Cleansing Facial, this has always been the top product of the season, and it happens to belong to the best niche, health, and benefit.

2. Check the Reviews

You head to the store, see a toaster you’ve been dying to buy, but suddenly realize there aren’t pages and pages of reviews stuck onto the shelf. How will you know if the toast toasts on both sides? What if the spring thing jams? Buying online means you can read millions of reviews, ensuring the toaster of your dreams wings its way to you speedily.

3. It’s Easy to Return Things

Refunds are your friend. Why not buy four dresses, try them on in the comfort of your own home and send back the ones that don’t fit? Yes, you can try on several dresses in-store, too, but no one will rush you at home and there will be no more split-second changing room decisions or a trip to town to take back the rejects.
